Tetsujin 28

This is a Revoltech Tetsujin 28 (known as Gigantor in America). This is the latest robot figure I bought, so I figured it will be my first robot post. It's only 4.5 inches tall, but it has numerous articulation, features clicking joints, and is built very well. It has multiple interchangeable hands, a rocket exhaust accessory, and a display base. This is by no means the best Tetsujin (I think the one produced by Bandai, in their Soul of Chogokin line is better by far). But considering you can buy a Revoltech (by Kaiyodo) figure for about $15-$17, this Tetsujin 28 figure gives you more bang for your buck. Another advantage this figure has over the Soul of Chogokin version is the size. Tetsujin is only 10 meters tall. Mazinger Z (Transor Z to Americans) is said to be about 18 meters in height, but the SOC Mazinger and SOC Tetsujin are very close in size. If we follow their stats, Tetsujin should only reach Mazinger's torso. So, if you want a more into scale Tetsujin for your other SOC robots, the Revoltech version is the way to go.
